I have been visiting Congo Golf for years. For the age of the course, its in amazing condition. The upkeep has always been great, landscaping neat, no trash on the property, and the staff is always friendly. The only downside I could say is the feeding of the alligators. I'm a realist, and understand its a "tourist" attraction, however, in the age where even Sea World is starting to release animals from captivity, I find it somewhat upsetting that they keep these animals, and also display with their mouths taped shut for visitors to handle. Just my opinion. Other than that, it's fantastic.
My friend and I came here to enjoy a round of mini-golf and I must say the course is done up very well. They have live alligators and turtles. The place is themed as if you're in the Congo River as the name of the place suggest. The worker we came in contact with was even dressed like a safari guide. Cool! The staff is also very friendly. In addition to playing golf, they have a little mini game you can play too. There is a scavenger hunt where you look for certain items on the course and write down the location that you found them in. At the end of your mini golf round you can turn in your scavenger hunt and get a free prize...well it's actually a coupon...but free, or paying less money is always good. I'm sure kids would love it here!
Wanted to play some miniature golf and found this place. It's a nice course and had fun here. Upon paying I was asked if I was a Veteran and received a discount which is always a nice surprise. They have a scavenger hunt as you play as well as a small arcade room. Both a nice touch to an already fun time. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Alligator feeding and cool souvenirs to top it all off. If you are in the area you should check it out.
Very clean and well kept. I was quite surprised being so close to 19 but kudos!! Lots of fun too!
This place is pretty freaking amazing!
They decided it would be a great idea to make fun of my kid. Started calling him names and making fun of his size. The course needs fixing up. I will not be coming back EVER.
