I was working with Steven Vincelli on financing a single family home or multi family home with my fiance, and made it clear to Steve that we would want to have a large enough down payment to avoid paying a PMI. We were told that that 20% down was sufficient to avoid PMI, reached out to see if there was any difference between triplex and duplex, Steve said no and gave us the green light. We put an offer in on a triplex, only to find out form him the next day that for a triplex we need 25% down to avoid PMI, when questioned about this he became defensive and stated that he couldn't work with us, and we needed to find another lender. Most rude transaction i have ever had with a professional, and furthermore someone we have been in contact with for months. His wife is also a realtor, and I believe this might have something to do with us choosing a different realtor than his wife. Overall horrible experience, and please proceed with caution. If he feels he cannot make money off of you he will drop you. I suggest not wasting your time or energy, and be weary of predatory lending.
Also, just found out he sent my fiance an approval letter with someone else's name on it. I wonder how Jean feels about that. Not the kind of carelessness you would want from someone you are signing legal financial documents with over the next 30 years.

People who work there are really friendly and helpful. I know them by name and they know me. Sometimes we have a banking issues and they are always solved fast. They are very personal, client oriented and proactive. I've banked with different banks before but this one is by far is the best one.
