I was sent away from the doctor's office because they didn't have the "proper" insurance information. I rescheduled after I supplied them with the proper information. When I came back I had to wait for 1 hour and 40 minutes to be seen. The entire office emptied out before I was told I would be next. A woman came in after that and then she was called. When I called the next day to complain I was told that they had many doctors and that the person I was talking to did not know which doctor the woman was going to see. She gave one excuse after another and did not acknowledge any wrong doing on their part.
I could not be any more impressed with how everything was handled at Morton Plant Hospital yesterday for my hip replacement surgery. From start to finish everybody was extremely professional and most notably in very good moods. Dr. Kilgore is an unbelievably skilled surgeon. I seriously appreciate that they are at the forefront of technology with this procedure. My pain level literally never went above zero and I was walking with a walker very quickly after the procedure. I could not be more grateful that I came to this Hospital to have this procedure done. This was literally a life-changing event for me. Thank you very much Dr. Kilgore and staff.
The doctor is fine but be prepared for a 45 - 60 minute wait in the main waiting room and then an additional 30 minute wait in the patient room before seeing the doctor. Appointmentsare booked out at least 6 weeks.
Long wait time (2 hours), but doctors analysis and care was excellent.
I also mentioned that the last two appointments that I had with them I had to wait for more than an hour and she said yes that is just the way it is. You have to wait that long even to see the PA.
