My Mother was buried 4 1/2 weeks ago. Today, June 15, 2017, I went to take her flowers, and I was livid when I came to her graveside. They still had not put down any sod on her grave; just the same dirt they used the day they buried her. This is totally unacceptable. What kind of a business are they running. I was most distraught at the sight and went immediately over to their office and complained. They said they would take care of it today. Well they better or they will have hell to pay.
Just employ someone else, anyone else to take care of your loved. The sites are beautiful and worth the additional cost as is the actual business of internment. However the preparation of your loved one and additional services are way overpriced and impersonal. Also we have waited more than five (5) months for our daughter's memorial stone to be designed and engraved. No one will return our calls and we paid for entire cost up front. The aftercare and post follow up is nonexistent. We have had to employ an attorney to move the process along. We would, however, highly recommend Holloway Funeral Home in Oldsmar. The entire staff is very compassionate and caring and take the extra time to make sure every detail is just right. And they follow up to make sure. They are wonderful wonderful people.
