The interior is pleasing and the staff are excellent. Super friendly, accommodating and kind to groups/kids.
Exquisite food and service. The bread is to die for and the Chicken Parmesan was the best I've ever tasted. Excellent dessert menu. Everything is made to order. Don't be in a hurry here. You'll want to savor this unique dining experience.
The food and service is always great and there is entertainment on select nights.
The meatballs were delicious, the chicken doronzio is perfectly spiced, the sacchetti is indulgent and fulfilling, the lasagna was outstanding, the veal marsala stank of wine and tasted greasy.
Solid if dated. Avoid the finesse dishes like snails (poorly executed) and go straight for the standards (calamari and tomato pomodoro soup!)
My husband got chicken parmigiana and that in itself was just okay. The same issues it was just bland and didn't have much flavor. That was $22 for a bland tasting meal that I could make better at home. The best part of the meal was the garlic bread. I have no complaints with our waiter because he did a great job but the food was overly priced and not that good. I wouldn't have minded but to have to pay so much for a meal that really isn't worth the money is disappointing and irritating. You expect to get something really good for that amount of money especially when you can get those same meals anywhere else for a lot less money.
We've been coming to Alfano's for years and always years and have never need disapointed.

My husband and I were looking for a new Italian place to try. We had seen the great reviews and figured we would give it a chance. It's a nice restaurant, nice decorations on the walls. We first started with the calamari and it wasn't that good. The calamari was bland and so was the marinara sauce that came with it. Then we ordered our main course. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, something I always get and seems to always turn out good. Well not this time... the eggplant itself just tasted like cheese, I couldn't taste anything else. The pasta with the sauce was the only good thing of the plate. But my meal did come with salad and that was pretty good. I liked the dressing. But to pay $20 for a meal that taste bland, it's a bit ridiculous. Considering the fact I could go anywhere else and get that same meal for cheaper and actually be happy about it and get as much salad as I want. Instead of a small bowl.
My husband and I were on our honeymoon and decided on a nice dinner here. Best choice, it was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing, from the Prosciutto & Mozzarella appetizer to the Butterscotch Bread Pudding. And the wine as to die for. Service was great, our waiter Rob was a sweetheart. I would definitely recommend this place and most definitely visit again.
