Nice atmosphere, lay back Californian style bistro with outdoor patio. Zagat rated so I wanted to try. Service was bad...asked for one wine received another, be aware...don't order pizza at this place. Nice upscale wine bars in California will serve wood fired pizzas that are to die for. The shrimp pizza was my idea of good pairing with wine wine. The crust was store bought and tasted horrible! I told the waiter and he didn't offer anything else and even after I told him he gave me the wrong glass of wine when the bill came he didn't do anything about it. Very dissapointed! I do not recommend it! Sister restaurant is the Beachcomber restaurant.
Good service, quility food, very nice personal
what a disappointing experience we had. From the extra small table we got for our party of 8, to the horrible service we were given by Stephen. I waited over 10 minutes to get a glass of water and even when i was holding a large drink menu in front of me, waiter never asked if I wanted anything from it. The menu selections were very "plain and simple" considering the high price. Grouper and side potatoe was good, everything else we ordered was loaded with salt, horrible taste. Dirty plates sat on table for a while because server disappeared and other staff just walked by ignoring us. We never got offered another drink from bar when empty glasses were taken. At the end when we had server handle check and he over charged us. My job requires me to help guests from all over the world find entertainment, places to eat, and more, but I'll make sure that they avoid this place. Horrible experience.
Food is awesome. Prices are very reasonable and they do not take advantage of tourists. Their wine is not overly pricey. However, you have to remember that this is Florida and it's costlier to cellar the product. They have No problems providing samples which is very nice if you're undecided . I've been a satisfied customer for nearly 20 years now
