These guys were great! The came out right away and gave a me a fair and competitive quote. When I was ready to move forward they honored the price and the work was done in one day. I am very happy with my new roof.

We recently had our roof completely redone. Scott's price was the lowest of all four bids. I showed one competitor Scott's quote and said he could not compete with that price. He was surprised at how low Scott's bid was yet still using better quality roofing material than he would be using. We had hurricane clips installed also. Our insurance company said that alone would lower our insurance cost by $1000. The roof looks beautiful and no more leaks.
We got a number of estimates and decided on Above Average based on pricing and that this is a small locally owned company with good reviews. Julie in the office is very helpful. The new roof looks great and we are happy knowing our home is protected. After the roof inspection we were able to get a good reduction in our homeowners insurance rate by bringing the roof up to code. There were a few glitches though, the crew hurried the tear-off with rain threatening, and did repair to the fascia that was not acceptable though the foreman insisted it was 'fine.' We contacted Scott with our concern and cellphone photos, and he came the next day to supervise the correct repairs, and the new roofing proceeded. (I would also recommend being very careful walking in the yard afterward since there were rusty old nails left behind and I stepped on one, just barely missed a puncture to my foot. Just found another today, over 2 months later.) Overall we are happy with Above Average Roofing and would recommend them. Problems will occur with any big project, but having a business owner who is responsive and fixes those problems makes up for a lot.
