They talked me into a credit card for a discount on my purchase. I called and paid the account in full exactly to the penny owed as soon as the bill came. I ignored follow-up letters from Macy's for a few months because my account was paid, and I didn't want promotions. Then I started getting strange calls from a bill collector--Macy's wanting over $100. Apparently they hit me with some fee for something like $5 after the original pay off. They held to the late fees and would not reduce below $79 and change. I paid it off and closed the account. Today I had a letter from Macy's and almost threw it away but opened it to find a bill for $2 and a threat of a $37 late fee. Macy's is in financial trouble and this dishonest behavior shows they care more about taking through any means to stay afloat than to be decent to their customers.

I love going their handbag department. Always find something. Plus the only store that carries my Jockey garments. Once in awhile I'll go to their cosmetics very helpful too

Stop hiring offshore customer service agents. They don't understand even the most basic questions and are unable to help assist with in anything beyond creating frustration where otherwise none existed.

A truly irritating experience. Wandered around the men's section trying to find an associate for assistance. After no luck I headed to the perfume department for some help finding anyone who worked there. She pointed me to the correct staff who ignored my existence for a few minutes then told me they told me they could not help me. Rude and not helpful. After bouncing from department to department trying wrangle some help finding the correct dress shirt I left in disappointment and dissatisfaction. Whoever sees this... this is a chance for a training experience for your staff. Do better.

It took 20 minutes just to find an associate willing to help, only to be greeted to a cold welcome. Brick and mortar stores are a thing of the past. I don't think this Macy's will last more than 5 years from now. There are very little associates available compared to many years ago. The service at this location has declined rapidly.
