Furniture shopping can be like buying a car, long and drawn out, too many choices, high pressure sales people, if you go to the wrong places. I was pleasantly surprised to find out Ashley Furniture at Sunset Point in Clearwater wasn't that way. My wife and I were greeted professionally when we entered the store by Keven Mendez who allowed us to look around without pressure, but was available to answer any questions at a moments notice. We didn't buy right away but when we were ready to he gave us the same level of professionalism as the first time. My thanks to Keven and the management of that store for making our major purchase a pleasant experience!
We were greeted as soon as we entered the store by Joe Pavlak, who became our sales person. He asked if we needed any help or direction. We told him what we were looking for, and then showed us around, answering our questions. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We stopped to look at other things to which he answered our questions.
I’ve purshased thousands of dollars in furniture with them and my latest purchase has become a nightmare! We purchased a new bed frame and a day after it was delivered one of the supports broke in the middle of the night. We called the next day to report this to them and they set up a time which was a week away for someone to come out and fix it. The tech comes out and doesn’t have the proper parts to fix and now they are telling me I’m going to have to wait another week for the parts to come! I’m very dissatisfied with the customer service I’m getting because this isn’t a table or chair, this is our king size bed that we sleep on every night! Never once was offered any discount on the bed or credit to the store, just a sorry it’s going to be another week before the parts will get to you! You would think that a company of that size would be doing something more to make the whole situation right but they are not and the managers I’ve spoken too have the slightest clue of what customer Service means! We will never step foot into another Ashley’s furniture again!
As a result we purchased a leather couch, 2 end tables, a dining room table and chairs plus a credenza.
My wife and I walked in looking for a bed and we walked out with an education and a bed. Jordan was more than helpful- he did the sleep test, spent time answering all of our questions, and we got a great deal- they were willing to price match the manufacturer! Ashley is a winner in my book.

My wife and I had a great experience with salesperson Jeff Gonzalez. At first, we weren't so sure about someone leading us around, but Jeff listened to what we really wanted in a bedroom suite and helped us put together everything we needed. We would definitely recommend anyone to check out this location for furniture.
