My wife and 2 year old daughter were furniture shopping and had visited several stores prior to Hudson's. When we arrived, Craig Wilson greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable right away. His knowledge of the products in his store, far exceeded any other sales person we had met that night at other furniture stores. Craig was knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy, and most of all he listened to what we wanted instead of having a preconceived idea of what we may have wanted. He asked questions and provided information relevant to our answers. We ended up purchasing from Hudson's that night and a big reason for our choice to purchase from Hudson's was Craig Wilson. If you go to Hudson's in Clearwater, I would highly recommend that you ask for Craig personally, you will have a great shopping experience.
Terrible customer service. Custom ordered a table based on the appearance in the show room and knew it could not be returned; however, when it was delivered it was not the same color on the showroom as a result of no lighting above the table in the show room which I did not know at the time of purchase. Sales staff, designer, Dominique the manager and Linda the regional manager will not exchange it for a table that will match the custom ordered chairs. Also had a side table delivered that was white on the show room floor. When it was delivered it was an ivory color so I rejected the item. Sales staff agreed that it is white on show room floor. Again, lack of lighting resulted in what I call bait and switch. Second set of delivery folks when delivering table, bar stools, side table etc. were not happy to take back the bar stools, side table as they stated they get paid for what was delivered and wanted me to take back to the store for a credit so they would be paid more. UNBELIEVABLE. WILL NO LONGER SHOP AT HUDSONS. THE ITEMS I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED I WILL PURCHASE ELSE WHERE.
I recently purchased a love seat with a console. It took me three visits to make up my mind and Chris Buhrman made it all happen with no pressure. He knows his products and worked hard to get the best price.
We spent $49000 for the furniture and we have been waiting an update regarding purchased items. Manager or customer service has not got back us yet .. Definitely it is not a professional company. Urgently management or customer service has to be changed. We will not order any item from HUDSON for sure.....
My husband and I had moved into the area recently from NY and needed to purchase a TV room set, breakfast nook table and master bedroom set. We were very pleased with the help from Chris our sales assoc. and their designer. They both came out to our house and measured everything perfectly gave suggestions for the layout and type of furniture that we should buy. We are so pleased with how everything came out. The furniture is very well made and we love it. I would have given this a 5 star but the only thing that I am not happy with is the 8x10 rug that we purchased with our set, it was an expensive rug, but already is showing signs of wear such as pulls, we do not have any animals or children so this is a bit disappointing, I will be calling them to let them know.
